History

The Athens Aeros were founded in 1968, know as the Athens Flyers until 1975 in which they changed there name to the Athens Aeros, are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team based out of Athens, Ontario. They play in the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2, formerly known as the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
